General Intellect receives HeK net-based art audience award

James Coupe, General Intellect (2015)

Since 2016 every year the Swiss art magazine Kunstbulletin and HeK (House of Electronic Arts Basel) award the prize, “net based”, for net-based art. The prize was established to draw attention to the Internet as a platform for artistic activities and to make innovative web-based projects or projects inspired by the Internet accessible to a broader public.

The winner of the main prize was RYBN.ORG for “ADM XI”.
The winner of the audience award was James Coupe for “General Intellect”.
