Worker cage with screen that displays a multiple-choice personality test used by Cambridge Analytica to profile Facebook users, and by various corporations to evaluate potential and current employees.

Crowdworkers are hired to upload a one-minute video recording their activities. The only requirements are that they only upload a maximum of one video per hour, and a clock be shown on camera.

An AI algorithm analyzes and labels photographs used in a standard human empathy test. Each photograph’s metadata generates a machine-readable CAPTCHA matrix and a related query.

A multi-channel video installation that generates narratives from video files produced by an online micro-labour force, via Amazon’s Mechanical Turk service…

Jalousie Room has three parts: a camera that meticulously and obsessively analyzes the street and buildings outside the gallery; a camera that is looking for a specific woman inside the main gallery; and a conversation that has previously taken place inside the room.

Swarm is an installation that identifies people in the museum according to their demographic and segments them into ‘clans’ in competing versions of the gallery space.

A public art work installed on the facade of the Henry Art Gallery until November 2015. As people approach they are tracked, profiled and recorded by surveillance cameras, while ultrasonic speakers beam stories at them derived from Facebook status posts.

This installation merges surveillance video with a self-help style voice-over, a psychology experiment, and a religious sermon.

A ring of five cameras is configured to continuously monitor a 360-degree field of view. The resulting panorama is then displayed on five screens on a wall. Software filters the video captured by the cameras to show only one person on each screen. The footage of each person loops, only being replaced once a new person stands in front of one of the cameras.
